Il Vecchio Muro in Frankfurt

It was truly a pleasure to discover this restaurant. For those who move abroad, finding something of their own country makes them feel at home for a moment. The restaurant is really nice, the wall with the "Old Wall" very suggestive and the cuisine really exquisite and Italian, I rediscovered the flavors of my land and with great pleasure I will return. The staff are really nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful in helping you. I can only give the maximum score. Compliments!!!

Looks a little cheesy inside, but the kitchen is just fine. We went to lunch on business. Restrained, friendly service. Great mushroom and meat dishes. We did not test fish. Overall, very recommendable.

The place is very nice, with a part of the old city wall. The food unfortunately didn't convince me. Three years ago I was in the restaurant because it was better.

Doesn't keep what it says on the tin! 20 minutes for drinks, with moderate use. If you have several orders you have to ask twice ... Food definitely only standard and overpriced. First & last time there as a guest.

Very loving, cozy and exceptionally nice atmosphere, very nice waitresses and the pizza was really delicious and absolutely worth the money. For anyone who attaches more importance to quality and a very pleasant stay than to the cheapest possible food, absolutely recommendable.

Was a very nice evening with colleagues. Very attentive service, in a great atmosphere. If the food, which was good in taste, would have been hot, it would have been a good thing. Too bad.

The 5 stars are the pizza. Finally, a restaurant that manages to bake the pizza with a thin, yet crisp bottom. Even in the middle of the pizza did not eat anything, as you know it so often. I have to say, of all the pizzas with thin soil that I have eaten so far, this was by far the best, a real experience. It has tasted also, as well as the espresso. If that's how it should always be, I'll gladly pay one more euro for the pizza. I will definitely come again.

Very good quality and service. The quality-cost relation is very good. That´s the restaurant when you are looking for really tasty food. Just incomparable with the trash food that´s usually found in Frankfurt. Maybe the best discovery during 6 years living in Frankfurt.

Business dinner for 2 people. Friendliness, elegant surroundings, impeccable service and a good reinterpretation of Italian cuisine while maintaining the typical flavors of the same. For sure we will come back again.

For me the best Italian! The fact that it has been around for more than 25 years and that the quality is maintained speaks for itself. And what many do not know: the pizza there tastes incredibly good! He even puts buffalo mozzarella on you and the ingredients for the topping are only of the best quality. Highly Recommended!
